This week we got to host a children’s education class in our Colfax clinic in Chuatzunuj. Led by Nurse Nancy and our intern, Avery, was her assistant puppet master. They utilized Sesame Street puppets to educate the kids on hygiene, picking up trash, and being kind, all while connecting Jesus and his love. The class was a huge success, with over 30 children in attendance. What started as quiet shyness, turned into singing and dancing by the end of class. After class, the kids eagerly waited to hang out and play soccer with Nancy and her assistant.
