It was so awesome working with this great group of missionaries this week for the Healing Nations clinic. Before COVID, Healing Nations would bring a group of doctors and nurses down to Guatemala every six months to work with their villages. Because of COVID, the doctors and nurses could not come down so a group of medical ministries here in Guatemala joined forces to hold a tele-clinic. It was pretty cool that we could be one of the ten ministries working together to make this clinic happen. We would check the patients in, our nurses here would see the patient along with a doctor on the other end of a video conference. We would then prepare their meds and then at another station, a nurse from the States would explain the medication over video conferencing and an interpreter on this end would translate to the patient. It was amazing how it all came together on was an awesome experience to be a part of!
