Our Projects

Partnering with communities to build a better future

Our curent projects

We value the capabilities that are already held by communities. That’s why we work in partnership with them, developing projects that draw people and skills together to establish creative solutions to the unique challenges they face.

We are committed to improving the lives of those suffering from generational poverty in the hard to reach areas of Latin America through healthcare services, education, and the Good News of Christ. We strive to reach villages that most are unable to reach in the rural parts of Latin America that have poor access to health care.  We provide a great way for doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to use their expertise for God’s kingdom.

Many parts of Latin America still ranks near the bottom of many quality of life indicators, including the areas of education and health care, especially in the indigenous Mayan areas. Because these areas need long term sustainable projects that help communities to solve the many difficulties that they face, GSG will be providing reproducible training and partnerships that emphasize the ability of each community to find solutions to long-term problems within their own community using the Truth Centered Transformation Program created by Reconciled World.

According to a 2020 report by UNICEF, there are over 4 1/2 million children that are chronically malnourished, surviving on a diet of corn tortillas and salt with little to no nutrition for their growing mind and body here in Latin America. GSG’s nutrition program provides daily multi-vitamins to the children in the Mayan villages we work in.

God Said Go Missions provides emergency and short-term provision of food, shelter materials, and basic survival necessities for children, their families, and communities during times of acute crisis. Emergency relief is essential when crisis occurs leaving children vulnerable to suffering, malnutrition, and exploitation. As well as providing critical relief items, our team is always focused on the long-term, looking for sustainable solutions to move beyond handouts and empower the people themselves to be part of the solution.

GSG started working in Guatemala with Rocsana’s Hope and although our mission has expanded, we still work very closely with this amazing transitional ministry for orphaned girls. Rocsana’s Hope’s mission is to save transitional orphan girls by bridging the gap from the orphanage to the real world by giving them a chance to break the cycle of poverty and exploitation. They are provided a safe place to live, complete education and job training, and emotional and spiritual care, all in a loving family oriented home.
