Medical Providers Needed

GSG is seeking medical professionals for our growing medical ministry in Guatemala. You will support the preventative care, education, and medical intervention necessary for the communities we serve, who have come from difficult situations with poor nutrition and ongoing health concerns.
Team member are welcome to use his/her other life experience, gifts, and skills to mentor and disciple in the community as time and energy allows.
LOCATION
Sacatepéquez, Escuintla, Chimaltenango, Huehuetenango Guatemala
MINISTRY DATES
Immediate and open ended
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required: A US medical license and good physical and mental health. Latin American Spanish language skills would be a plus.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural ministry setting. A ‘team player’, resilient, consistent walk with God, and able to cope well in a harsh climate. The rigors of practicing in remote areas of Latin America requires the ability, in some cases, to adjust to heat, humidity, and the challenges of working in a resource poor setting.
Be able to raise his/her own financial support.
