FULL TERM
TEAM LEADER, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, SUPPORT STAFF, RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY TEACHING

GSG is seeking to grow our current work in the department of Escuintla in Guatemala. This team will be ministering to the indigenous people groups in the hard to reach areas all over the district. This team will be working alongside our partner ministry Hope of the Nations Guatemala and area pastors. We have an open door with the local communities and many possible ministry avenues, including:

1. Serving the communities with regular medical clinics and building relationships with the indigenous people.

2, Teaching the communities healthy hygiene and the importance of drinking clean water.

3. Development projects in the communities, such as building water purifiers, wells, and clinics.

Ultimately, GSG would like to see the formation of a full ministry team here. 

The vision for this outreach is to embrace the community, build genuine relationships, and share Christ in both words and actions. Join us for the start of something new and, God willing, something big for His kingdom.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Latin American Spanish language skills would be required for a team leader position, and would be a plus for anyone doing ministry before the formation of a full team. Team members would be focused on learning the local dialect.

Each ministry avenue may have unique requirements for qualifications and experience.

Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural ministry setting. A ‘team player’, resilient, consistent walk with God, and able to cope well in a harsh climate.
