GSG is seeking individuals that have a passion for furthering the mission or our ministry. The mission statement of the development team is to share the mission and vision of GSG with believers in the U.S. and to recruit, retain and affirm prayer and financial partners to support our work and workers in Latin America.

The Development Team Volunteer is an individual with a desire to serve and support the Development Team mission by building relationships with GSG’s prayer and financial partners. There are a variety of ways a volunteer can serve with the Development Ministries Team.

Serve in one or more of these specific roles:
PARTNER APPRECIATION
o Partner appreciation calls: Make phone calls on behalf of the organization to express thanks for partnership, build relationships and ask for ways to pray personally for the donors.
o Thank you cards: Write personalized correspondence to express thanks sent via regular mail.
o Assist with events related to partner appreciation such as church meetings or Dessert & Coffee Gatherings.

EVENTS and SPECIAL PROJECTS
o Help plan and facilitate events related to partner appreciation such as church presentations or Dessert & Coffee Gatherings).
o Assist with bulk mailings of ministry newsletters, partner letters, seasonal cards, etc.
o Provide administrative support to the Development team through organization, communication, and phone calls.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Love for Jesus Christ and growing relationship with him.
• God-dependent attitude with a desire to serve God through a donor development ministry.
• A humble heart to invest in others as they become aware and grow in their role in missions.
• Strong verbal or written communication skills.
• Comfortable learning new software.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

A strong spiritual life with an emphasis on showing Christ’s love through action.
