We’re putting our own spin on Giving Tuesday this year with our School Backpack Drive, a special fundraiser that empowers you to provide much needed school supplies for children currently living in extreme poverty. Many can’t go to school because their parents can’t afford the required basic school supplies. In Guatemala, school starts in January and our goal is to raise enough for 200 backpacks stuffed with school supplies by the beginning of the school year!
For $35 each, this is what each student will receive:
- Good quality backpack that will last.
- #2 pencils
- Eraser
- Black, blue and red ink pens
- Scissors
- 12 colored pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Pencil bag
- 12 crayons
- 12 colored markers
- Paint brush
- 6 color water paint set
- Bottle of white glue
- Ruler
- 5 notebooks
- Loose leaf notebook paper
