Join Our Team
welcome to a road less traveled
Where many a Land Cruiser and Mayan have trod. Where men and women captivated by Christ’s love brave a journey that begins with a whisper: “Who will go for us?” This road may take you far from the familiar and comfortable. It is an offramp on the highway of the American dream. A detour from career and personal gain. A path so strange you may sometimes feel lost or inadequate. Yet it is a beautiful and priceless journey – this life of simple faith and bold conviction, offered and spent for the glory of God in Latin America. Will you join us?
Are you ready to see what missionary opportunities God might have for you? Do you love Him and want to serve Him by being the hands and feet of Jesus to some of the world’s most vulnerable people? Do you want to use your passions and abilities to advance His kingdom on earth?
Then let’s talk about the exciting and challenging work of being a God Said Go missionary!
Our missionaries are simply men and women who love Jesus Christ and desire to use their skills, gifts, and passions to bring hope to suffering people. They are a part of teams made up of other cross-cultural missionaries and national Christian staff.
Our goal is to have about 1 in 10 of the God Said Go staff members in the field to be missionaries. Sent from the USA, Canada, and the UK, these support-raising missionaries fill strategic roles to help expand and improve our service to the children and communities we serve as they work alongside of our national staff teams.
Your Time, Talent, and Treasure
With the support and training of our organization, missionaries raise their own financial support to serve overseas. Missionaries serve for initial commitments of 2-3 years and then undergo a review process to decide whether to continue serving with us or to return to life in their home country.
Put Your Gifts To Work
Whether you have unique gifts or interests in medicine, linguistics, teaching, accounting, photography, writing, or construction – you will find exciting ways to put those gifts to use working with God Said Go Missions.
Upon returning, the unique skills our missionaries learn on the field often give them an edge in finding their next employment or ministry opportunity. Serving with us may bring experience and training far beyond your original job description!
So, how do missionaries serve? Some missionaries come to serve a specific role we have already created, and some missionaries come to us with a vision, and we create a role for them. Check below to see some specific roles we are currently looking to fill.
How Can I Serve?
We’re always looking for big-hearted individuals with a passion to serve the people we’re working with in various capacities. We have short-term, medium-term, and long-term opportunities for you to be the hands and feet of Jesus where we work. Check out all the options below – no matter how much time you have to give, you can make a difference!
Maybe you feel God leading you into something specific. Or maybe you just don’t know. Either way, we’d love to join you in the discovery.

Ways To Serve With GSG
Medical Ministries
GSG Medical specializes in mobile clinics providing basic medical care, education, and prevention in isolated hard to reach communities. In addition to meeting incredible physical needs, GSG Medical plays a central role in opening doors for other ministries and in developing the Latin American church. There are opportunities to train and disciple Latin American medical professionals and opportunities to introduce those under your care to Christ.
Truth Centered Transformation
Many Latin American communities lack basic necessities like clean drinking water or nourishing vegetables from a healthy organic garden. If you have skills in Community Development or Agriculture, GSG has opportunities for you to make a difference in Jesus’ name. GSG personnel work to improve communities by teaching improved farming methods, finding reliable water supplies, and through community health education.
Support Services
Missions requires a team effort, and many of GSG’s personnel play a vital role in our overall ministry through the support services they provide. Some are drivers, driving personnel and supplies into very remote villages. Others make sure our computers and communication systems stay up and running. Office Personnel, Administrators, even Media Producers. All are crucial to the task, and much of what we do among all Latin American peoples wouldn’t be possible without our support services teammates.
