3rd annual school supplies drive
This Year’s Goal: $10,000
This Giving Tuesday marks a special occasion—our 3rd Annual School Supplies Drive! And this year, we’re inviting YOU to make a powerful impact on the lives of children living in extreme poverty. With your help, we can provide the essential school supplies that these children need to attend school. Without these supplies, many won’t have the chance to get an education, as their families simply can’t afford the basics.
Here’s why this year is even more exciting: In Guatemala, the school year starts in February, and we’ve set a goal to equip 300 students with everything they need to succeed! Imagine being the reason a child gets to walk through those school doors with pride, knowing they have the tools to learn and grow.
But that’s not all! Our After-School Kid’s Club has been exploding with growth! What started as small groups of 15 children has now blossomed into vibrant communities with over 150 kids attending each week in some villages. It’s amazing to see how many young lives are being touched—but we’re facing a good problem because of this growth. The local volunteers who’ve been generously providing snacks and drinks for the kids are now struggling to meet the demand, and that’s where you can make a huge difference.
This year’s campaign will not only supply school materials, but it will also support the After-School Kid’s Club by providing the much-needed snacks and drinks to keep these growing groups nourished and engaged each week.
For just $35, you’ll provide a child with:
- #2 pencils
- Erasers
- Black, blue, and red pens
- Scissors
- 12 colored pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Pencil bag
- 12 crayons
- 12 colored markers
- Paint brush
- 6-color watercolor set
- Bottle of white glue
- Ruler
- 5 notebooks
- Loose-leaf notebook paper
- Graph paper
- Blank paper
- A Kid’s New Testament
- An evangelistic story booklet
- And, weekly snacks and drinks for an entire year of the After-School Kid’s Club!
This isn’t just about school supplies. It’s about providing hope, nourishment, and a sense of community to children who need it most. Every dollar you give is a step toward creating brighter futures for these kids. Let’s make this year’s drive our best one yet!
