Amatitlan Medical Center

A homebase for our medical ministry

Goal: $25,000

God Said Go Medical has been honored by being extended the opportunity to acquire the Amatitlan Medical Center located on the grounds of the Asamblea De Dios Antioquia church.  The church originally created the center to serve over 40 impoverished areas around the city of Amatitlan and to be a place where quality health care would be provided.  When it was discovered that the current management of the facility was managing it more as a business than a ministry, the church and the management decided to go their separate ways.

When the church leadership was praying about who could take over the medical center, the pastor remembered Jeff (our founder) and the work GSG Medical had done with them in the past and they have extended an invitation for us to take over the medical center.

The Amatitlan Medical Center currently has a clinic that sees from 40-50 patients a day, Monday through Saturday.  Along with the clinic, the center has a licensed pharmacy and a complete laboratory with some diagnostics equipment such as an ultrasound machine.  This medical center will become the headquarters for our current medical ministry where we would be able to offer a larger selection of medicines, complete lab tests, diagnostics such as ultrasound and x-ray and more. The current doctor and staff at the facility are excited about this move and have agreed to stay on with GSG. God is so good!

However, the current management owns all the laboratory equipment, pharmacy inventory and clinic furniture that they will be taking so we will need to replace all of these items.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 to furnish the clinic, replace the laboratory equipment, ultrasound machine and pharmacy stock, and to add an x-ray machine.  We have been truly blessed to have this opportunity and plan to move in sometime in September, 2023.
